Our trained caregiver arrives with the Bed Shower Wibby™ system. We place a waterproof shower sheet on the bed — setup takes just minutes.
Your loved one receives a full warm shower — body wash, shampoo, and rinse — while remaining comfortably in bed. Water temperature is precisely controlled.
After the shower, we dry your loved one with a warm air dryer, groom, and help redress them in clean clothing. The bed remains completely dry throughout.
The Technology
The Bed Shower Wibby™ is the world's first portable, self-contained in-bed shower system — redefining hygiene and infection prevention in home settings. It delivers a compact and efficient solution for the hygiene needs of bedridden patients.
This technology shortens active shower time, reduces caregiver strain, and helps maintain better skin hygiene than traditional basin baths. It is ideal for clients who are high fall-risk or who experience pain during transfers to the bathroom.

Who We Serve

Most bed-bound patients only receive sponge baths, which can leave them feeling less than clean and increase skin-breakdown risks. Our service delivers a real warm shower.

Bathing an immobile loved one is one of the most physically demanding caregiving tasks. Bed Shower Wibby™ reduces caregiver burnout while maintaining patient dignity.
Safe hygiene care during recovery without bathroom transfers.
Gentle, dignified care for those with MS, ALS, or stroke recovery.
Enhanced hygiene protocols for immunocompromised individuals.
Comfort-focused hygiene that preserves dignity in end-of-life care.
Aseptic Showering
Aseptic showering goes beyond standard hygiene — it integrates clinical-grade antiseptic protocols directly into the bathing process to actively reduce the microbial load on a patient's skin. For homebound and medically fragile individuals, this is one of the most powerful infection-prevention interventions available outside a hospital setting.
Aseptic showering uses antiseptic solutions — most commonly chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) — during the bathing process to decolonize the patient's skin. The skin is the primary reservoir for pathogens such as MRSA, Pseudomonas, and C. difficile. By systematically reducing the bacterial load on the skin surface, aseptic showering breaks the chain of infection before it can establish itself.
Patients discharged home after surgery, ICU stays, or with central lines, urinary catheters, or open wounds carry elevated infection risk. Traditional sponge baths do not achieve the level of skin decolonization needed to protect these patients. Bed Shower Mobile's aseptic protocol — using the Bed Shower Wibby™ with CHG-compatible antiseptic solutions — delivers ICU-level hygiene in the home setting.
We support both decolonization strategies. Universal decolonization — bathing all high-risk patients with antiseptic solutions regardless of infection status — has been shown to reduce all-cause bloodstream infections more effectively than targeted approaches. For clients with known colonization or active infection risk, we apply targeted decolonization with enhanced PPE and surface protocols.
Daily bathing with 4% CHG reduced hospital-acquired infection incidence by 40% vs. standard soap and water in a randomized controlled trial.
Daily CHG bathing in pediatric ICU patients led to a 36% reduction in bacteremia, demonstrating effectiveness across all age groups.
Skin decolonization directly reduces central line-associated bloodstream infections — the most dangerous and costly of all HAIs.
Every Bed Shower Mobile visit follows a consistent, documented aseptic protocol — eliminating the variability that undermines manual bathing compliance.

How We Deliver It
We use chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG)-compatible solutions during every aseptic visit, applied systematically across all body regions in the correct sequence to maximize decolonization efficacy. CHG has a residual antimicrobial effect that continues working on the skin for hours after the shower.
The Bed Shower Wibby™ automatically disinfects its internal water circuit between every patient visit, eliminating 99.999999% of pathogens including MRSA, C. difficile, Pseudomonas, and Candida. This prevents the equipment itself from becoming a vector — a critical failure point in traditional bathing equipment.
Every aseptic visit is documented with the antiseptic solution used, body regions covered, and any skin findings observed. Reports are available for the patient's care team, supporting continuity of infection control across home health, hospice, and physician oversight.
Is your patient a candidate for aseptic in-bed showering?
Post-surgical, catheterized, immunocompromised, or ICU-discharged patients benefit most. We'll assess eligibility during your free consultation.
Infection Control
As a decontamination-focused provider, we integrate enhanced hygiene and surface protocols into every visit. Between clients, the Bed Shower Wibby™ is cleaned and disinfected following strict procedures to reduce cross-contamination risk.
The system automatically disinfects itself after every use using an EPA-registered solution that eliminates 99.999999% of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and mold — including MRSA, C. difficile, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
The misting system can disinfect beds, mattresses, and patient room furniture including tables, trays, and infusion pumps — reducing cross-contamination risk throughout the care environment.
Our caregivers follow rigorous hand-hygiene and PPE protocols during every visit, with additional surface disinfection available for clients with elevated infection or environmental risks.
